Pre-shipment inspection is the final line of defense before a low-quality product leaves the factory area. ATI offers pre-shipment inspection services for the buyers across the globe demanding inspection services in Pakistan, China, Vietnam, India, and Bangladesh.

What is a Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI)?

Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI), also known as Final Random Inspection (FRI), checks your finished products in order to assess problems with finished and packaged goods. This procedure is done through a random selection of samples and each sample is carefully examined in order to ensure it meets our customer’s expectations. The PSI ensures that the products comply with your specifications including overall appearance, amount, excellence, size, color, packing, and method/details.

The elements of PSI are as follows:

  • Product Quality: Quality of the end product is checked keeping in view the Acceptable Quality Limit (AQL). The quality of the product is matched with the prototype and the product is cleared for shipment to the buyer.
  • Packaging: The packaging of the product is the second most crucial element of pre-shipment inspection service. It may not seem as important at first sight but the proper packaging ensures the safety of the product. If the packaging is damaged, the product may differ from the actual one. The damage could be in the working, color, shape or any other specification as per the product.
  • Labeling: Labeling is the last most important check in the pre shipment inspection service. Proper labeling may include the tags, barcodes or the product details. Improper tagging may result in fine, recalls or confusions in the buyer’s mind.
